Introduction to Rectangular Steel Pipe Structural System


The prefabricated rectangular steel pipe structural system utilizes a proprietary high-strength bolted connection method. This structural system has undergone four systematic tests at the Engineering Structure and New Materials Research Center of Beijing University of Civil Engineering and Architecture. These tests rigorously evaluated the performance of beam-column joints with a 4-meter span under various building forms, including load-bearing capacity, ductility, and energy dissipation.
