In May 2024, at the invitation of the Ministry of Construction of Antigua and Barbuda, Mr. Liu Ye, Vice President of the China Building Materials Market Association and Chairman of Hong Kong Apex Global Group (hereinafter referred to as APEX), along with CEO Mr. Jiang Tao, Vice Chairman Mr. Shang Yang, and General Manager of the International Affairs Department, Mr. Teng Zhang, visited Antigua and Barbuda.

    During this visit, APEX was entrusted with a significant mission. On one hand, as the service provider for the cooperation between the China Building Materials Market Association and Antigua and Barbuda in the field of building materials, APEX is responsible for providing comprehensive service support for multi-faceted cooperation in building material product trade, technical standard alignment, testing and certification, investment in factory construction, and talent training. On the other hand, APEX actively promotes high-quality Chinese building materials and prefabricated integrated housing products in Antigua and Barbuda and across the Caribbean region, showcasing China's excellent building materials, advanced design concepts, and efficient construction methods.

    During the visit, they met with Clement Antonio, Deputy Minister of the Ministry of Construction of Antigua and Barbuda, and engaged in in-depth discussions on cooperation in areas such as new building materials trade and integrated housing construction. They also visited completed government housing projects and held discussions on potential collaborations for new public housing projects and the Ministry of Construction’s office building project. APEX expressed confidence that, with its extensive construction experience and professional design and construction teams, it could provide high-quality government housing and modern office facilities for the region.

   APEX’s visit to Antigua and Barbuda fully demonstrated its determination and capability to actively expand into the international market and promote international cooperation. With the joint efforts of both sides, it is believed that APEX will achieve even more on the soil of Antigua and Barbuda, contributing to the cooperation between China and Antigua in building material standard alignment, high-quality building material trade, and housing construction.
