December 15, 2024: A day of significant importance, APEX Universal Group Limited (APEX) officially commenced construction of its 85㎡ and 120㎡ sample houses in Antigua and Barbuda.
Located in the northern part of the Lesser Antilles in the Caribbean, Antigua and Barbuda is a member of the Commonwealth with breathtaking natural landscapes and rich cultural heritage. However, frequent hurricanes and tsunamis have posed immense natural challenges to this land. In such adversity, the demand for sturdy, safe, and comfortable housing has become increasingly urgent. With keen insight, APEX quickly captured this critical demand and decisively dispatched a strong team to engage in local construction efforts.
The sample houses, now under construction, carry countless expectations and represent a major breakthrough in the local construction field. During the design process, APEX fully considered local climate characteristics, natural disaster risks, and construction difficulties. By employing prefabricated rectangular steel tube structural systems, the project introduces new techniques and craftsmanship to the local construction industry. APEX’s professional team, with their rigorous approach and outstanding expertise, meticulously designed and repeatedly reviewed every detail—from foundation preparation to the main structure, waterproofing and moisture-proofing measures, wind and seismic performance enhancements, and even material transportation—showcasing the company’s professional standards and dedication to quality.
This project is of extraordinary significance. It brings the most advanced housing construction technology from China to Antigua and Barbuda, achieving technical breakthroughs in local house design and construction. It will demonstrate to the local community that housing can be both aesthetically pleasing and safe and comfortable. Local residents and the government can draw valuable design and construction lessons from these sample houses, guiding future housing development.
Through this project, APEX is poised to inject new vitality into the development of Antigua and Barbuda. The company remains committed to its corporate philosophy of “building living spaces faster” and its product principle of “faster speed, less labor.” APEX will continue to contribute its efforts in Antigua and Barbuda and throughout the Caribbean region.
